April 30, 2009: As you probably already guessed I didn't get any shots of the meteor shower or the planet conjunction. I also didn't storm chase any of the days this weekend, but honestly am kind of glad I didn't. Not much happened up further north, there was one storm however that was extremely photogenic and storm chaser Dick McGowan was just a few hundred yards from an elephant trunk tornado and got some incredible images, so definitely check those out.

The next week won't bring any good storms, but the extended looks good right now, still 10+ days out though. I also just bought a sigma 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6 wide angle lens last week, but haven't had anything to shoot to test it out yet. I might go downtown tomorrow to test it, since we aren't getting any storms for quite a while.

I updated the recent photos page with a link to my Pbase.com gallery, just incase your interested, although I probably should update the gallery too...maybe later.
